Not to brag, but I am totally bragging. My baby did a great job picking oot the hoose we have up here in Kelowna. When we were first looking for a place up here, this hoose kept popping up, but was listed as "partially furnished", which we really didn't want. But after looking at some so-so hooses, we decided Lisa should take a peek at this one anyway. Glad she did, because it is absolutely wonderful. And the hoose is so big, we actually needed the extra furnishings! Ranks right up there with our Gulf-side home in St Pete, Florida.
I know I've been torturing my friends on Facebook with hundreds of pictures of the hoose - what can I say, I'm really proud of the place, proud of my baby doing so well as to be able to get a place like this for us, and glad that we finally have something nice. Most of you know how we have struggled, weathered some really bad luck, and have dealt with the myriad of my health emergencies, so I am beside myself with happiness at having this all go so well for us. I have never been happier, more relaxed, and anxious to show-off our achievement(s) with everyone under the sun - especially those who know exactly how much this all means to us.
Yesterday, sitting ootside in the backyard (it's been over 15 years since I've had my own lawn), I was still blown away with just how absolutely beautiful it is here. So I thought I'd share some pics (FB users may have seen these already) of the views here at the hoose and aboot town. I'm also hoping this will entice our friends and family to come and visit us up here. We miss our friends already and honestly want as many of you as possible to make the trip up here. We certainly have plenty of room!
