It's funny b/c when I talk to peeps back in the States and they need my zip code, they think I'm making stuff up or don't understand what they are asking for. My problem is that the letters sometimes sound like different letters when you say them, like "s" sounds like "f" over the phone. So you try to use International Call Signs as you say it: My postal code is V1V 2S3, so I will say Victor One Victor Two Sierra Three. That really throws off Americans. So I've learned to have some fun with it. Plus, none of that extended hyphenated crap they came up with to "speed up" mail delivery back in the US. Hey, as long as my mail gets here, no biggie, right?
Canadian postal code *are* difficult to remember because of the mix of letters and numbers. Or is it me? I like 90210 better :-)
